Data sources
SealedEX is designed to blend three sources — PriceCharting, eBay, and TCGplayer — into a single index value per product. During the MVP, that blend is incomplete. Only PriceCharting is live today. Other source values shown on the site are sample / placeholder numbers, surfaced so the layout and methodology are visible but not intended to drive a real purchase or sale decision.
PriceCharting · live
Current prices and product images on every product page come from PriceCharting. PriceCharting’s public API is used under the documented terms; product images are stock product photos hosted on PriceCharting’s CDN with attribution.
eBay Browse · diagnostic only
The eBay Browse API has been integrated for active-listing context and liquidity diagnostics. Active asking prices arenotused as a price source on this site, because asks are not the same as sold comparables. The on-site “eBay” value remains a placeholder until sold comparables become available.
eBay Marketplace Insights (sold comps) · pending access
Tooling for the Marketplace Insights API exists in the codebase and is verified offline, but the required scope is not yet granted on our eBay developer keyset. Until it is, the on-site “eBay” price stays at sample values.
TCGplayer · tooling ready, inert
TCGplayer auth + pricing tooling exists, but no live TCGplayer data is on the site yet. The on-site “TCGplayer” price is a sample value.
SealedEX composite · sample
The headline SealedEX composite is intentionally only recomputed when all three source values are live. Until eBay sold comparables and TCGplayer go live, no blended SealedEX value is published; product pages display PriceCharting’s market price as the headline value.

Affiliate disclosure — eBay
SealedEX is a member of the eBay Partner Network. Outbound eBay links on product pages are referral links: if you click through and make a qualifying purchase, SealedEX may earn a small commission from eBay, at no additional cost to you. The price you pay on eBay is unaffected by clicking from SealedEX.
Affiliate compensation does not influence which products SealedEX tracks, how prices are calculated, or how products are ranked. The eBay button only opens an eBay search for the product you are viewing — it does not steer you toward a specific seller or listing.
Affiliate disclosure — TCGplayer
SealedEX participates in TCGplayer’s affiliate program. The TCGplayer button on product pages is currently a generic affiliate landing link — it opens TCGplayer’s general sealed-product area, not a product-specific page. If you click through and make a qualifying purchase, SealedEX may earn a small commission, at no additional cost to you. The price you pay on TCGplayer is unaffected by clicking from SealedEX.
The link does not steer you toward a specific seller or listing. Affiliate compensation does not influence which products SealedEX tracks, how prices are calculated, or how products are ranked.
Product-specific TCGplayer deep links are not yet supported and remain pending the confirmed deep-link template. This page will be updated when per-product deep links go live.
No paid placements
SealedEX does not accept paid product placement, sponsored content, or paid reviews. Editorial choices — which products are tracked, which sources are blended, how prices are presented — are made independently.
