About SealedEX

What SealedEX is

SealedEX is a sealed-TCG price index, presented as a financial-terminal-style web app. The site catalogs sealed Pokémon products across every era — Booster Boxes, Elite Trainer Boxes, Booster Bundles, Booster Packs — and surfaces price, history, and source-spread context per product. The current MVP scope is English-only and US-marketplace-focused.

Today the catalog covers 571 sealed products across 127 sets and 11 Pokémon eras, prerendered as a static site.

How prices work

Current market prices and the monthly price history shown on every product page are sourced from PriceCharting. SealedEX may incorporate additional marketplace data sources — such as eBay sold comparables and TCGplayer market data — in the future. The full breakdown of what is live and what is in progress lives on the data-source disclosure page.

Current data sources

• PriceCharting — live. Current prices and product images on every page come from PriceCharting.
• eBay (Browse) — verified for active listings only; used for diagnostic context, not for price.
• eBay (Marketplace Insights) — tooling is ready; sold-comparables access is not yet granted on the current keyset, so eBay-sourced prices remain placeholder.
• TCGplayer — affiliate link is live as a temporary generic landing URL; product pricing data is not yet integrated, and Phase 3 developer/API access remains pending.
